What we collect

Only this, and only if you choose to fill out the form on the site: your first name, your last name and your email address.

Why

To inform you about the launch of Oreka's crowdfunding campaign on La Ruche and, if you stay subscribed, about the project's major milestones. Nothing else.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties. We do not use any advertising tracking tools on this site.

Where the information is stored

The site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores submitted forms. Only the Oreka team has access to them. Netlify is an American company: its servers may be located outside Québec, including in the United States.

Typeface

The site's text uses the Switzer typeface, loaded from the Fontshare service. To display it, your browser connects to this service, which then receives your IP address, as with any resource loaded from another site.

Video

The presentation film is hosted on YouTube. The YouTube player only loads if you click to watch the film; YouTube (Google) may then receive your IP address and set cookies in your browser, under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.

How long

Until the end of the campaign, or until you ask us to remove your sign-up.

Unsubscribe or have your data deleted

Write to us at contact@orekatech.ca. We will remove your sign-up on request, no questions asked.

Browser storage

The site keeps two small technical items in your browser, with no personal data: the fact that the welcome screen has already been shown during your visit, and the language you chose. They are only used to avoid showing you the welcome screen twice and to remember your language.

Responsible party
